| Job Summary:
The Business Development – position will market bank in the community to cultivate profitable lending and banking relationships.
Assures compliance with all Bank’s marketing policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
Essential Job Functions:
• Owns client experience from start to finish to meet their financial needs by using customer-focused, needs-based profile approach to educate customers on banking products and services that meet their financial needs.
• Collaborate with internal partners to refer customers to other lines of business—including financial advisors, First Liberty Title Co., insurance services, treasury management, and the loan department—to support overall deposit growth, loan production, and increased utilization of all bank products and services.
• Generate leads, make outbound calls, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and promote appropriate products to build new and maintain existing relationships.
• Educate clients on the usage of technology self-service options such as leveraging the FLB Mobile App, and online banking to assist with their banking needs.
• Participate in community and professional activities, representing the bank in a positive, friendly and professional manner while marketing bank products and services.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education & Job Qualifications:
• Excellent client, marketing or sales experience skills
• Basic skills in computer operations; outlook, PowerPoint, Word
• Possess problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum directions.
• Possess interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
• Travel
• On-site in person office working conditions
